You discovered your next spiritual home! Our mission is to welcome all seekers of the Buddha’s wisdom by offering opportunities to explore the Dharma (teaching) and grow with the sangha (community), based on Shakyamuni’s teachings of the Threefold Lotus Sutra as originally practiced in the spiritual context of the mid-20th century Japan.
Step inside and explore teachings and practices that nurture self-compassion and make your relationship with everything more meaningful.

Sangha Sunday
10AM - 12PM
Sangha Sunday 10AM-12PM gives you an opportunity to explore a group chanting, meditation, and Buddhist teachings (and how to apply them to your everyday life). Every 4th Sunday is an exception: we will do a volunteer work after a chanting.

Kids Mindfulness
Activity
Mindfulness is for everyone including little bodhisattvas! We offer kids mindful art & craft several times a year after major Sunday service.

Sound Bath Meditation
Thursdays 7-8PM
Our Buddhist sound bath meditation offers more than relaxation. Led by Rev. Dr. Mikawa, you’ll immerse yourself in the peaceful, resonant tones of authentic Japanese Buddhist bells used in daily practice, and reconnect with the abundance within you. $20 donation. RSVP through a link in Calendar below.

Remeber Your Loved Ones
Upon Request
Buddhists believe that after a loved one—including a cherished pet—passes away, their life continues on a new journey and will take another form in the future. End of life of loved ones unfolds for us a new way of relating to them. You may request a personalized, one-in-the-world, Japanese Buddhist style posthumous name plaque of your loved ones to honor their life and deepen your bond with them.

Each new member is
warmly invited to set up a Buddha altar in their home. This video offers a gentle look at the enshrinement ceremony—a meaningful day to reflect on the roots of your life, renew your vow, and honor your ancestors in a simple way. Caring for the root of your life is our core Buddhist practice that helps you feel spiritually grounded and transform emotional pain and suffering into the seeds of awakening.
